The CLINICAL NUTRITION CENTER NATURALPHA – CNCN: a unique center dedicated to clinical trials in Nutrition and Health

Naturalpha has opened in Lille its clinical study center with the mission to bring the proof of health effect in humans for agrofood products, ingredients, dietary supplements and medical devices.

The objectives of these clinical studies are the following:

  • Health claim dossier for the EFSA,
  • Scientific communication,
  • Validation of scientific pre-clinical results.

The CNCN is completely committed to the realization of clinical investigation in nutrition:

  • Integration in a major university hospital in Lille Metropole: GHICL – Groupe Hospitalier Institut Catholique de Lille
  • Important medical and technical infrastructure (imaging, laboratory of medical biology, pharmacy, dietetic services...)
  • Space fully designed to meet the needs of clinical studies in nutrition

In Northern France, the CNCN has high recruitment capacities:

  • Access to a wide population (4 million inhabitants in the North of France)
  • Diverse demography: elderly persons, adults, women, children, babies…
  • Interesting nutritional epidemiology: (pre)diabetes, overweight, obesity, metabolic disorders, menopause…
